I watch you grow
   each day,
embracing a world
sometimes cold

lacking in luster
of gleam and shine

clawing and scratching
white washed surfaces
coated with the hypocrisy
of faces   contorted

those knowing not heart.....

It is only greed
they suffer from,
endowing themselves
in lies

fulfilling a need

for their next fix

obtaining a thrill
inflicting their will;

upon the weak
upon the meek

and you...

regard not
what the world
throws your way...

come what may

I watch you grow

  each day

     stronger,

          indomitable

                     the will to survive.

seek the flame within yourself
and let your soul be cleansed by
the fire of love.  Axel Ekenstierna

The words you say are so truthful and meaningful. I love your work. Cheers  - Ed

I measure as a quality tailor
cut my cloth
to the proudest degree

then sell to those

who value cheap as having value

I cared about my skill, I cared about my self

Now all they seek

Is cheap

And not myself

My intepretation

Sorry if I've got it wrong

the will to survive-we shall overcome-at least at times-it can be a struggle-but well worth the trip
