Through purple haze and fuschia sunsets
reminiscent of lazy daze
and whirlwinds that change us.

Like a gentle gust takes our breath away
calming in the sway
as palm leaves glisten.

Keeping rhythm in the breeze
keening warm with intent
leaves a trail written in the stars.

Linking heaven and earth
glints like a ray of diamonds
dancing in the moonlight.

Sweeping in slow motion
a thousand images splash across the sky
tickles and teases like summer rain.

Falling away
forever in tune
with the intimacy of loving.

Spilling from a fountain in the sunlight
with a quiet beauty
that sparkles on it's own.

I don't know if you intended this Bluesy, but flow of this accelerated and decelerated to me, as if whirling my mind.  It's good to read your poetry again.

Beautiful writing, per usual. I'm glad when I see you've posted as it happens so sparringly, or perhaps I've just missed a lot and at that I digress...

I think we could get there on my cruiser. Lovely dear lady, as always. Miss ya' and haven't forgotten to pray for you.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

I don't always know what to say or how
to thank you properly.
So often I come away feeling like maybe
what I write isn't half bad after all.
So I shall thank you for making me feel that way,
and for the time you take to read me.

If I were writing this, every verse would start with the words, "For you I wish"....not because it would improve this beautiful poem, but because I do wish all of this, for you. May it be, and may it remain for keeps!
