There once was a little centipede.
        Running to and fro.
Each one of his hundred legs.
Moving fast as they could go.
        The centipede scurried round about.
Over and under leaves and limbs of trees.
        Without concern...without a doubt.
        He ran about with ease.

Then, one day, he met a pondering frog.
The frog watched the centipede run past.
The frog said, " I am quite amazed ! "
" Your legs all move so fast ! "
" I watched you move so freely...
As you scurried along the ditch...
With so many legs... How do you know...
Which leg should follow which ? "

        The centipede stopped his running.
And gave thought to the question asked.
What had been before an effortless chore.
        Now, became a tedious task.
Over and over he pondered the question.
        The impossibilities flooded his brain.
        And that particular centipede...
        Never ran again.

Enjoyed this, Uriah.  A good reminder
to not listen to the impossibilities
that we otherwise conquer so easily!

Good enough as a story read to children. Interesting.

'without concern...without a doubt'

my personal favourite verse here.
