Shadow Love

10 February 2006

To know you’re loved
enough to know love exists
Windows and doors
empty room sparse

Wanting needing
unable to have
Born before time
standing still in aging

Dreaming fantasy
lost in a darkness
A hollow shell
the kernel inside

Seeds planted
this weather of reign
Why did it exist
knowledge neither to touch

“As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the
sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet
to my taste. Until the day break, and the shadows flee away, turn, my beloved,
and be thou like a roe or a young hart upon the mountains of Bether.”
Song of Solomon. 2: 3, 17 KJV

The numbers are like page numbers as if all my psalms as I like to call them were composed in on single book. This explanation below maybe rather wordy, only I was forced to defend my form of presentation and style in another place of reference, and such things pasted here save writing this out all over again. Just excuse my bluntness, as I understand you own interest is more genuine.

I did my best to read over my explanation below and edit it where necessary. To hope no one in reading below is offended by my words. Given to this date of 2006 I have composed 250 psalms for 2006 and almost 60 works for February 2006. The numbers are important and can be considered to be an alternative title, in being a brief way of reference.

-----------------------------

as I wrote above my numbers are page numbers and a system of reference to me and a tool in that respect.

In November 1995, I started a notebook to store my handwritten poems in , and numbered the pages. Of that when I had finished that note book on 06 April 1999 at page 152, I continued with numbering my next notebook in the way of number 153, and so on. When I wrote longer poems that took up more numbers in my notebook, they took up more than one page , so I skipped the numbers in the process.

In May 2000 I began using a computer to write and store my poems, then I also used a computer back in 1995/1996 until that computer in being 10 years old gave up working. It was not a PC , used 3 inch disks and not 3 1/2 inch floppy's.

Either way one day I realized I was duplicating poem titles, so I created a spreadsheet to search out if I ended up using a title more than once.

I have written over 4000 poems - More of since 1999 - even if I stated in November 1995 with number 1 . The numbers are page numbers as if all my works are in one single book. To think by just titles is much harder to search back and find my poems in the way they are stored in my collection.

Of that I wrote a record 900 to 1000 poems in the past 6 months. However some do consider my numbers depreciate my works, that is their opinion and I respect that. And if some people want to write a poem and then discard any reference to what they wrote - that is their choice as well. My poems or psalms as I prefer to call them are my fireproof memories and a form of journal of a life's journey.

Others have remarked as if I have a daily quota, that is also wrong. Nevertheless I do and have been composing up to 10 or more of my works in a given day. I could write as many as that just in the time of maybe 5 an hour or even more in such a short period.

It is all about prospective and value of worth. The numbers are a tool, just like using a spreadsheet and database. Even if I can more often remember a works I may have composed and not be able to find it on floppy disk, CD, or my hard drive or in a notebook - because seeking out one poem of thousands is no five minute search. But with my system it certainly helps in my view

Although you might now wish you never dared to ask to begin with. When it is like saying why do I add my footnotes and use scripture and other quotes. Some of this has just as much to do with the style I developed and some to do with the layout in my publications in covering the page. But my footnotes are not fillers to take up white space. Therefore the real answer is that this is me being me and nothing else but for a purpose I have devised to utilize as I do and have been for over 10 years now.

The focus is on internet relationships or friendships, of those in being loved, or desiring love. Yet with the seed planted unable to touch, therefore being in the shadow of love, as if there was not love to be loved. When there was a form of love all the same.

Or was that more confusing than my above works is. Again composed in a limited style without flow of expression or in being bland.
