Your Words of Sweet Rhyme
For my friend Lee J.

Soft and tender,
your words melt my heart,
as a gentle cooing,
from your spirit to your hand.

I feel a touch of your words,
as you pen your art
letters and words along the shore,
written deep in shimmering sand…

Words towering to blench the darkest of storm,
and yet,harmless,
as the nest of a morning dove...

Your stirring melody awakens the sun’s own form
and welcomes its warmth
among the piney woodland groves
where you share your lifes words in love...

With eagerness, I await your next verse or rhyme,
uncomplaining, yet unwilling to miss just that one,
When you pen your words in verse.

Your words of sweet rhyme…
(Thank you LeeJ)

JL

I hope you sent her a little note to let her know you posted this.  She is indeed an amazing poet and inspiration.  I'm sure she'll appreciate this tribute to her.

She's a jewel .. and you shine pretty brightly yourself~

To grant another poet those words is like giving them a piece of hope these words shall survive through me, through what i show to others, to be that poet is wonderous.

YEP! She is all that.

But she says I'm a POOP?
I hate when that happens!
