A single rose means more than you know
So much in thought that one cannot show
I give this to you, to show what you are to me
There is more here than others can see

Since the day I met you in the restaurant
You’re all I found my self to want
Someone I can honestly care about
Someone I could love and have no doubt

This single rose means more than you know
Gives more ways that love can grow
Like when I look into your soft brown eyes
There’s a feeling that this will never demise

At night I look at the stars and think of you
I wonder if you look up at them too
Do the same thoughts go through your head
That I think about from sunrise to the time of bed?

Some things I may never know about you
Like some of the wild things you used to do
But all in all, there’s enough to keep my interest
I promise till the end, I’ll try to give you my best

Even though this is just a single red rose
You were the man that my heart has chose
