Hold me

when I cannot repress

tears

Don’t call it a weakness

my heart is not afraid

of loving you

or being called

a fool

place my hands, love

upon your own

raise them to your face

such bittersweet sorrow   in transition

heed the mercury

rising

flipping through waves

of planes

not unlike

a banner

flapping in victory

only to stand sentinel

as cards

a cross section

of Lovers

reshuffle them

death faces

in rising sun

let my heart then

be reborn

evolution of love

~~~
Duets...sigh...I remember when I used to do them.
This one beautifully handled, with just enough individual color, just enough blend.....
What a lovely spread the two of you have laid out before us. (That's tarot terminology for all you filthy minded brethren o mine )
My own cards are gathering dust I'm afraid.
No.
Really.
I'm afraid.
(I got the tower and the ten of swords the last FOUR times--and I can't go tossing that on to some poor misfortunate seeker, now can I?)
Dare I ask for another reading?
lovely
Wow, you guys are way too kind, besides it was all Susan (it was, don't let her fool you)
Karen?  I am afraid to even let mine out of the bag . . .
Thank you everyone for responding and liking and especially to SEA for bringing this here.
Thank you, my sistah.
Thanks guys.
You had me at hello.  I thought the poem was over at the fool card but it just got better and better from there.  I live the tarot use and the spacing.
"my heart is not afraid
of loving you
a fool"
...an essential part of love.
Great duet!
senility has definately got a foothold on me.
wow...that was amazing. I really liked the addition of the tarot cards, that was very creative. You two are quite talented individuals and even more so when teamed.
