i loved you once, but never again
after what you've done.
you may not have meant it,
and just thought it was fun.
but the things you said;the things you did
have made my heart turn cold,
and now you're a different person
to who i have been told.
i no longer feel for you,
the way i know i should,
because you're no longer that person -
you're no longer my flesh and blood.
it hurts to say the words i've said,
but the words are how i feel.
she hurt me once, you hurt me twice
how do you think that makes me feel?
in all my life, all i've wanted
was for someone to show they care,
i know i put you both through hell
but i felt you were never there,
to show me who i was,
and how to feel inside.
but all i did was push and push
and all i could do was hide
away from everyone.
i hope you're pleased with yourself,
and the walls you helped me build.
shutting me away from everyone and everything
and showering me with your guilt.
but i knwo you was wrong,
and for that i have no shame.
you mucked it up this time,
and you'll never have the chance again
to make it right.

at times relationships can sure suck
i've had things said to me that would seem to be impossible to erase by someone saying,
"i'm sorry"
but where there is love there can truly be forgiveness--very difficult to forgive some things, but real LOVE can wipe away many tears
