As the winds sweep the moonless sky,
I am blinded by the blowing snow.
Cannot this wait until I get home?
My speech is slurred...
My hands...they're so cold I could cry.
Got no feeling in my feet and my body aches.
I just want to scream....
Im stiffened by the ice that has
covered my entire body after I fell in the river.

I must keep moving...
I must.....

Seeing fires blazing in my mind does no good
for keeping me warm.
All of this trouble for firewood?

Im virtually crying in pain.
My beard and mustache are frosted white..
Im the hypothermic version of Santa Clause.

Come on German blood warm me up!
I will fight the cold...
I will not stop walking till Im home.

Im now noticing that Im on the wrong path.
Will this night ever end?!
Sleep is on my mind.....
Can barely keep my eyes open
and nothings warming me up.

Miles from home and my only light
is lost on the bottom of the river.
This weather was fine when I left.

-Screams Loudly-

I see lights....
Snowmobiles? Angels? What are they?!
Im seeing things Im sure of it...
Just a trick performed by a hungry body
and a confused mind. Im holucinating...
PLEASE LET ME MAKE IT HOME TONIGHT!!!
Im hungry and cold!
Cant you see my teeth are clenched so I cant speak?!

It would be nice to know wheather you made it home or froze to death...In fact...I had to go put a sweater on while reading this.  Brrrrrrrr!  I don't like the cold!

wellll, maybe the lights are reflected moonlight from the eyes of some creature? hehe, let's assume they are harmless
anyway, as Martie said, maybe continue to the next obvious scene? either you become a popsicle or you get rescued by those snowmobilers, or maybe...stumble upon...an empty hunters cabin????
