another year has flown by~
another birthday for our dear sy~

for he is one we all adore~
his words are addictive
always leaving us wanting more~

a warm heart
that can set a soul on fire~
a free spirit
an inspiration to all who desire~

full`of passion~
understanding
compassion~

he gives us joy
and plants many a seed~
in his garden
flowers, roses
never a weed~

butterflies

and birds~
fly free
upon his words~

smiles and kisses~
with a complament to all
never a poet
he misses~

so today is your day~
may all your dreams
come your way~

and as god only made a special few~
i thank god
for allowing us
and honoring us
with the likes of you~
