The idea is old
The love is new
The dress will be borrowed
And I will be blue

I’ve never seen anyone so beautiful
Then you looking this way
I’ve never felt so much pain inside
As I do today

There stands the bride
Where I’d always hoped I’d be
Standing at her side, the groom
Whom I wanted to marry me

The idea may be old
And the love may be new
But the dress is still borrowed
And I shall remain blue

Yeah, sometimes it happens that way....and I don't think it's possible to describe the pain (I felt it too). Good work, I hope to see more from you.

I hope someday you get the chance to live like you were dying....

What a great and sensitive poem.  It's so true and real to life sometimes.
