O! nothing speaks to me like poetry
(Thrown away torn pages) of written lives,
As if thou spilt blood and bled to death
Still springs back to life with another piece-
O! romance upon heartbreak
Or (Music for the spirit rise)
Hopes voice so full of wisdom
That unlike need it lingers thro and thro’
And echoes flow from wounds
Oh, nothing drowns, nor waits for death,
Yet beauty from the eye remains-
And all those flowers, ‘Tis the roses!
Bow sleepy heads down like horses
Adore yonder dreams afar, too far-
The wandering carriage awaits our fantasy.

’Twas a little woodland- o’er there
Her womb still filled with coming birth,
Near the outskirts of a desert of people-
The last post of nature ready with nettles,
Wasp nests, and the final stand before the wounds
An oasis of beauty that no man could kill,
Away-say away- o’er and o’er-
The little voices of fairies doth speak faintly
Splendor on little kisses thee thought were bites,
And burrows filled with wonderment
She threw away the sight (The eyes are my depth)
To misplace the stars in such a thing of beauty-
’Tis a crime to keep closed what I long to see
And seas run dry like tears do fall for no reason,
Anchor’d on a destin’d bound moment-
Late in the night we tamed the silence into laughter
And gave the chained soul a hour of freedom.

Whence came the thought, on thy lovely mind,
(Fleeing in the night as my dreams held me in thine place)
And dwell’d with me in the infinity of questions-
And knelt- and cried-and kicked- and screamed
Howling to no-one by the silence we’d tamed together,
Seems beauty- not implying upon sight-
shall last upon the likeness to thee
glittering thro’ the thud of my once beating heart,
A wealth that were if it be rich to be in love-
O! love more than what the word implied
Rip out this blackened heart and hang it out to dry,
The vultures might cometh and take a piece
Least travell’d awoken to the pain.

All feverish she tendered to my illness
And laced the flowers: made the daffodil chain
So eagerly I took it from the highest of stars-
Deep in the root of my heart I’d sewn her in
Upon the falling waterfalls tears well spent,
Uproared by the pain of remembrance-
’Tis a dream I told myself ‘Tis just a dream
An Inmate in the prison of my mind barred in,
Sham’d by the nectar she slipped me in the kiss
And the queen had fled her nest
Wasn’t I the one that was meant to place the sting,
And so died the purpose of been living-
Seeking the sweetness of deaths doorstep
I heard it was near the centre of loneliness,
Blooming from the wilderness than to tame the lion
Wasn’t it strange thou art here in a ghostly form,
Yet still exist on the place I once called home.
Remind me of the knight in shining armour-
With madness he climbed those walls to thee
And looked toward heaven for a greater cause,
And pleaded that he be let back down
Guilt sorrowing his moving thoughts,
How can a knight serve his king-
When his thoughts (Upon the breast of a lover)
Leave him heaving himself rather than the others,
Into the hospital beds, what hath thou done!
That aspiring motherly touch could never cure the sickness
Ere exalted into the solace of his being,
Brave men were never born from learning to fight!
They fell out of love and went to die,
Bursting from the inside out into a victorious death.

And dragonfly’s thro thought of as dragons,
Must of withered in flight upon the mountains-
null’d by the waterfalls image of youth
with cupid no more than the remains,
To bear witness to the creation of this god-
Whose goddess seemed to never be
So rather let him steal mortal wounds from me!
Neath the heartstrings of morrow-
From yester- or passing breathe
That keeps, from reaper death,
The heartbeat to and fro-
Angels fiddle! Then ponder,
With half closed minds,
On the failing of time from within,
Till moments come to pass
Hath drawn an everlasting glance,
Toward thro’ the shade of love
And bowed upon the heartache-
Like- kings praise empty cities
Who call upon themselves to rule,
Arise! From self pity fools!

’Tis the spirit to resist temptation,
Those half eaten memories
Breathe like breath once more!
Dew upon thy eye
O! how, without feeling, Love!
Could it be, ‘tis the heart that beats
lull’d no more by regrets,
Caress weightless wings of silken
Cause the hindering of night -
O, leave and let beauty be apart
Lead me the warmth of the sun no-more,
Go back toward thy cloud and sulk
Each feather stroked a thought before,
Away with thee, away with thee!
My beautiful angel that watches over me-
Whose harshest words were soundless
O! is it a part of my delusion,
The breeze has combed her hair-
I feel the misplaced strands
Breach the whole of my being,
Away with thee, whate’er thee may be,
Thy image in torn pages of past dwellings
No murmur thou hast bound my hands-
In a sleepless dream of forgotten hours
But that waking rain of warmth,
discovers me in the emptiness of this room
Which flower blossoms on the touch of our month
And dies at the end of thy leaving
That spouts new bonds and meanings,
In the rhythm dance of forgetfulness
But are modell’d upon experience.

I find that it is in those pages that are the most worn that I find the greatest poetry and inspiring thoughts.

This was an incredibly vivid picture of so many little details, and just a pleasure to read.
