remember
heavy clothes
when the neighborhood
only sold dead branch
weave

that
we talked about the days
when the weather
was lost in wallflowers
raised eyebrows
and crosses to
fend off your deepbottom
phoenix

I
saw their need
to glorify quicksand
for it was more
then a watering hole
but a way of life........period

love
was a hardware
habit that rewarded
hand and pocket
because they knew
no other gods
and they proudly produce
a manual for the hearth
and another for the
other side of the front door
which they bought
from some lost antique
dealer

you
saw little of the sun
cause it got tired
of shining on pretend coins
and decided to follow
nixon after all
to china

my
thoughts are the same now
as they've always been
i never stopped gathering
reeds so i can drift down
that hidden nile
and maybe
just maybe overtake
baby moses
on my way
to your bedroom
window

wild
colors always shone through
your most sorrowful look
because fire was made
for burning
and it never stopped burning
in you

thing
is every tear they caused
was a curse to their hands
and noah never smiled bigger
when he found his lot
to drive nails into his ark
with hands that been doing
a lot of using
.......who's the user now?

you'll always be my wild
and as the seasons come and go
if tears are to run
let it be mine all tore up
if cries are to be uttered
let it be my voice in the wilderness
proclaiming your beauty
which done took care
of this recon
pacer

Bagger~

'you

A little snippet of poetry, within the poetry~

This is a pondering thought that seems to want to splash in my ink-of-think~
I 'may' let it~

Marvelous penning, poet~

I sure wouldn't mind if someone said that about me!  Enjoyed you here!

This is very good.
I had stopped midway then came back.
There is a certain tone throughout.
The words create a mood that endures.
Again, very good.

Read it again.  I would very much like your
permission to include this in my file of
poems by others.

You amaze me Bagger. What a way with words... and thoughts.

Bagger, this is a very interesting piece, and it's a ... ps-I liked the way you weave in the "message."
