Im dusting it off my shoulder leaving it all behind me
Im moving on from yesterday an facing the day
we will meet again at another time
and I will show you then it will be so obvious of
the quest I left today in my backpack
pushing to much to my plate at once
I stand lost out in the desert not sure where to go
to many short nights finding myself falling asleep
in places of importance due to activities not
mandatory but for satisfaction of others then myself
I choose to do whats best for me now
I drop it all leave my pride out can't take it anymore
to many busy days of nonsense
an artist at heart and mind can't do all these other things
many understand me not for Im not like most
I stand alone for the outlook I carrie in this life
others do not know what path i take
I can no longer fake these doings of waste
carrie on as you may but my time for these things
end today

I do not need shine or wealth, just a pen and some paper for my health
