Waiting for love

I will wait for you till late tonight
I will wait for you long into the twilight

Some wonder why I wait for you at all
They say your not coming back, you don’t even return my calls

Yet, I will wait for you in the freezing cold
I will wait for you till the days grow old

Some wonder why I wait for you like this
They say quit thinking of her, for she is of past reminisce

Yet, I will wait for you while I am out on the lake
I will wait for you in the Amazon river, full of anaconda snakes

Some wonder why I continue to wait for you
They say I have a better chance of getting a monkey that lives in a zoo

Yet, I will wait for you in the most evil place
Then take you to tropical area with extraordinary grace

Some wonder why I still wait for you
They say my heart needs a new love, its way overdue

Yet, I will wait for you in a busy street
I will wait for you in extraordinary heat

Some wonder why I wait for you still
They say I need something else, a new thrill

Yet, I will wait for you deep into the forest of old
Then take you into the town and buy you earrings made of gold

Some wonder why I won’t let you go
They say your nothing but a memory of long ago

Yet, I waited for you by a broken down and old store
And there you came, walking down the street to me, my heart jumped in a way I’ve never felt before

I knew you would come back, it would only be a matter of time
Now, lets get out of this old store, I shall buy you some Dom P`erignon Wine

All those people who doubted me for waiting on you
They never knew of our love, that hadn’t had the slightest clue

Here, I stand in a bedroom with you
My persistence of waiting has made our love much more true

I think you for coming back to me
Our love shall last forever, that I guarantee

To wait is like knowing you love them personally for if you stray how can you say you really loved at all
