traumatize me in your afterglow of brilliance
hold me down in you flesh colored tenements
and while the taste of you is still ripe in my mind
string up my hopes
with your chords of always
watching the shadow of you across this room
buried my face in the arms of regret
and you wouldnt lie down to hold my hand
i'll lose this thumbwar inside your head
unraveling smiles that twist and turn
i need to feel your words on my neck
until i melt blue into your fingers
here am i
shaking off fears of your return
which torment my dreams without hearing
songs unsung from your hands-
that caress i adore

Oh my! This is truly powerful.

welcome back seems in order here
perhaps not this room
but the same ocean

Loved the ebb and flow of this..

the bad/good, right/wrong of it..

What a significant point in this poem. Great job
