Not Really

I never realized how much I'd miss her,
how bad I'd yearn to hold and kiss her.
So I foolishly sent her away,
thinking that love is a game
for silly lovers to play.

But...after she was gone for a week or two,
I found that the will of my heart couldn't
carry me through, because it hurts when you care,
oh yes it hurts when you care,
and the one that you love
is not there.

I didn't really send her away...just expressing some of the feelings I experienced while my honey was on vacation...she's back now...smile...James
