Whenever i feel
lonely, a warm
glow fills me,
eases my pain.
Thrilling heart beams
eminate, even in
deepest drowsy dreams.
My dreams have
cold air draughts
washing over me,
hushing through swaying
willow trees, by
streams shaded by
derelict ruined abbeys,
resonating with holy
chants of days,
of beauty silent.
Taking me back,
to an unadorned
life of thankfullness,
not of cupidity,
pious simplicity for
all, romantic, heroic
belief in our
reason for living,
where did we
lose that quality?
Trapped, no going
back now, locked
in a world
of our own
making, no escape.
Heedless, uncompassionate, our
rapacity replaces one
who we all
should worship with
zeal, our eternity
is bound to
Gods everlasting love.
Mammonism is modern
life's false prophet,
only a styx
river ride, beckoned
by the reaper,
awaits followers of
that ignoble path.

Desire for nothing except desirelessness, hope for nothing except to rise above all hopes, want nothing and you will have everything.avatar Meher Baba.

Wow.  To the library with it.

Like a ship blown from it's mooringby a wind off the sea- I have been changed for good.
