FAIT ACCOMPLI

Like a train
Struggling through
The darkness of night
A thin ray of light
Such was the love
'Tween you and me
Only dreams
But nothing to see
Fait accompli

Wow... that was really good.  Sometimes poems as short as what I've just read don't work, but yours does.

Will be watching for more.  Enjoyed the depth acquired in so few words.
