Don't be sad for me...
It was time for me to be happy.
I want you to be joyous too!
Have a party, rejoyce.
From pain I am now free.
Accept your loss.
Know there are replacements
To fill you emptiness with.
Growth is the blessing of death's sting.
Notice the posative impacts upon life.
Don't give up because you are alone,
Start making new dreams alive!

Thank you Jo. I lost 7 friends in 2 years once and as a consequence I read alot of books on life after death.  I also read Elizabeth K Ross's book on death and dying.  That is where the I came up with the name for this poem.  Plus many cultures have a party when someone dies.  Glad you liked it.                            Kim

To celebrate ones life once they are gone, is the best compliment you can give them.

I enjoyed.
