She walks sand
Barefoot toes spread and twist touch
In wetness
And coarseness
Over there where the sea spreads,
There smoothing
And here soothing
The sadness that fill too much,
Ocean spray
Wash away
Cleansing now that sorrow sheds.
She walks sand
And dreams of holding his hand.

Gloom

Oh I loved this one PG, very different from you, and from such an interesting perspective of the lonliness and hope that few men could write about this well.

reminds me of walking on the wet sand and the footprints leave behind an impression something was there then it fades over time abit like the mind on memories

Professor: You have written many wonderful poems... and I'm sure you'll grace us with many more. But... I'm not sure any of them will ever touch me the way this one did.. The sorrow and dreams of this January take me into each word... and take this poem into my library... to be treasured. I thank you!

Oh my..a beautiful keeper of a piece.
So delicately crafted and much enjoyed.

I found there lives within me..
An invincible summer.
