adieu, i say
  to north winds that howl

like a youthful lover
gossiping, fluted white curiosities
like an anatomy professor
taking driving lessons
for it is not meaning...nor power
but more so, a spiritual endowment
believed...

adieu, i say
to white teeth of deceased
laughing prowess of wrath

truth bobs on the surface of autumn
how very sweet of time
how very sweet….
& the idea that will never die
in the belly of meaning…
fixing carriage wheels

human spirit appeals with its own voice
source of image, like a zen parable
grabbing the hands of a circle
with a song in front, this gentleman
yawns realism, taking me like a bride

adieu, to early scratches, now dissolved
into roots of nature, where ten of nineteen pages are
missing…spawning a tradition

living days are
the waking of a wayward crow
patient spiders joins a warm path
where woodlands reflect, turning…turning
rowing on a sea of glass

adieu, foolish wisdom of flesh
contrary to a natural world the writers
spawned of women incompetent
matter dissolves, leading millions astray

for what peeked out from a darkened veil
imparts a blind eye
ascribing authorship and radical grail
like a beloved disciple
who was “the secret” pronounced mystery
like oldest commentaries of a sacred bond

adieu, i say, adieu
to gravity of organized crowds
their mocking expressions of disapproval
when light taps their shoulder, they are the forms
of darkness

adieu, oh yea, adieu…dieing is easy
the hardest part comes whilst flesh hangs on
in this world i’ll be saved from the earth
in stones of all who understand

adieu, manifestation of balance, adieu
i will attain to the instance…to suffering
to the least in eyes of others…

adieu..adieu
adieu

"adieu, i say
  to north winds that howl"

Whew! Thank goodness that "adieu" wasn't to us from you!

As always, your illustrious words provoke thought! ~ Much thought! lol

~ May the winds in your life blow softly from the south.

Hugs with love,
Linda

LeeJ

The northwinds have blown here too....left most of the neighborhood trees in the pool, and shingles on the roof now dot the walk.  But I still love the wind!!  Go figure!  As always you see with such bright word color, that I need sunglasses to read.

Lee~
There are layers of thought in this brilliant penning that go far beyond the circling Spirit of the wind ... reminding me that you are *gifted* of many voices~

Keeping this one to read again and again~
I've got 'favorite' thoughts gleaned from this one ... but I'm going to tuck them quietly away to savor when my word-hunger strikes anew~

BEAUTIFUL !!!
The all of it ... beautiful~

So you sent them to ME?  We had been
calm, calm like a baby sleeping,
until yesterday, when you wrote
adieu,

and let winter blow my way...

smiling at you...

keeping this!
