My Dad and me, two of a kind
Expressing feelings through our art
Our hearts foreverly entwined
My Dad and me, two of a kind
We knew what's on each others mind
As soul mates we will never part
My Dad and me, two of a kind
Expressing feelings through our art

My Dad was a great artist (painter) and you all know I'm trying to be a tiny poet and an amateur photographer

Like scattered leaves...my words will flow

I am my Daddy's little girl (ok so I am heading towards 40.. but still).

This is such a beautiful connection that you have.

Thank you all for your lovely words.
My Dad died long time ago, but I'm surrounded by his paintings and therefor his soul and I'm enjoying both every day.

And when he told us (each and every winter) that the old house we lived in, didn't like Central Heating, he was right, which I noticed when the new owners put it in. It looked like 'a flag on a mudboat' as a Dutch saying goes, which means 'it was an awfull sight'.

This is so precious. I would venture to say you two are indeed, two of a kind. You have so much talent.

Oh my this was so lovely Titia, you were gifted by him in more ways than talent.  What a beautiful photo, and poem.

Thanks for your poem.  I envy your bond with your parents.  Glad to see your mom is feeling well enough to reply.  What is CV?
