Do you know how you inspire me?
Your writing is not lost, you see.
I read your words with rapt attention
And applaud your efforts with  admiration.

I am always amazed at what you pen,
The thoughts you share with this friend,
I watch for nuances of change
In the  vast sweep of your writing range.

I carefully read what you have to say.
And when I want to shy away
From feeling the power in your words,
I reread for seconds and for thirds.

You inspire and encourage me
With your courage and your honesty.
I beg you, my friends, to persevere
With the writing efforts that you bring here.

Bridget? A belated Happy Anniversary to you, for hanging around for FOUR years now!  I know you read a lot of us - and you give so much to Prairie Inkwells, that it wouldn't be the same without you!  Good morning hugs, Poet!

Bridget~
It is a gifting
meant to be
sharing a worded-thought
so willingly~

For it's just what
we poets do
gift one another
knowing as we do
that the inspire
catches fire
lighting
igniting
another
so very true~

Well Bridget,
A big DITTO back at you.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Happy Anniversary Bridget!

And such a wonderful poem to celebrate this happy event, from one who's an inspiration herself.

Congratulations on your 4th Anniversary here at PiP! Your poem of appreciation of your fellow poets, was very sweet and touching. I understand such sentiments! ~ I have them as well! ~ and you expressed them beautifully, Dear Poet!

Sending you a big, warm hug,
Linda
