Somewhere in the vast wasteland

Why do you plague me so
What cannot be, cannot be
Perfection in my hand
Slipped though my fingers

Now I dream of perfection
I wake to find it ripped away
Reminded of the mistake
Ruined perfection for me

Must my dreams give such happiness
Tearing my heart out everytime I wake
Leaving me battered and broken
Endless tears for my error

I cry out for peace
Please leave me alone
Haven't I paid enough
Please I beg of you

Mercy

If you are looking for meaning in life, stop.  It will find you.

If you are not looking, start. It is out there waiting for you.
