A Touch of Life

Each day I breathe a touch of death
At night I wreathe a touch of breath
And in-between I sip my tea
And script realities of me

Chasing rainbows can be done
But only half the do is fun
There is a path that must be walked
To stay the flat, it must be corked

I play the blues a hot guitar
While sweating drips that feel like tar
With this I cork what seems the roam
And after that I head for home

I wrap my themes within my dreams
And spray the mean with globs of cream
This sweetens all the whims of flight
The flim flam that will fill my night

Each night I wreathe a touch of breath
Each day I breathe a touch of death

Each day I breathe a touch of death
At night I wreathe a touch of breath
...
Chasing rainbows can be done
But only half the do is fun

Perfect description...

Thanks, Melton

"Each day I breathe a touch of death

This, Sy, I understand and could not have said more eloquently.  So goes the morning...

Tea?  Did you say tea, Sy?
Come sit with me and share a cup or two.
Much enjoyed your morning thoughts.

Seymour~
There is just always something special in your pennings that jumps out and grabs each of us ... for me, it is this -

'I play the blues a hot guitar'

Enchantress,
I would love to.

Did you know I would pick this part? LOL
It's always hard for me to pick a certain part
because it's all so great.
