       SOMEBODY HEARD MY CRY

Going thru another storm, Me, Myself and I
Zero visibility began to cloud my sight
Leaving me scared and feeling helpless
I begin to cry
I thought no one cared about
What I was saying
I thought no one was hearing
My prayer I was praying
SOMEBODY HEAR MY CRY

So thinking to myself, as I went thru another day
This hell I’m dwelling in, is a place I need not stay
For my heart was bleeding with intense, crucial pain
From being cut, chopped, sliced and diced
I finally realized, I was in a routine drain
I felt so depleted, I was allowing him to pull from my soul
I had to make some serious decisions
Not to have myself under his control
SOMEBODY HEAR MY CRY

Because my mind was in a tug of war
Being pulled from left to right
I was constantly beating myself up
As though I was in a 10 round fight
My insides was torn into several pieces
Making it harder and harder to get thru a night
But a small faint whisper of a voice
Said to me, "I would soon see some light”

As the battle between the devil and me got very intense
I called to my Lord, to please come to my defense
God with his almighty self, rescued me in the nick of time
Because Satan put before me things, that seduced my mind
I thought no one cared about
What I was saying
I thought no one was hearing
My prayer I was praying
SOMEBODY HEARD MY CRY

Marge I thank you for the warm welcome and reply. In the very short time that I've been on Pip, (which is today) I've come to know your warm and encouraging spirit through your written words. May the Lord continue to bless you as you bless others.

This gave me a familier chill. I too faught the darkness and thought that I was alone, and I to found that I only needed to look up and find my prayers were being herd.
