Do you ever wonder why you like a person Was it that song that perked up your horizons Was it something or some age that spoke primitive essence to you Do you ever learn that a person was worth attention from other points of view Did you ever spend your mind, not your time Did you ever say "I dont understand" As a tiger or tigress on a bridge Wondering Does the bridge You move into life on your own terms No matter what anyone else's terms are You take a failure to argue as agreement On a station or office or mind you meet You wonder whether it would be better You remember why And wonder Like a funfair Or English post cards Which were text when Post Office lost it to Unions You delivered Hand written cards You posted in the morning and delivered that afternoon for an assignment Controlled, stamped, delivered by all But the heart and politicians dont deliver Love except of themselves |

thought provoking, Dave things that go bump in the night--a writer's feet as he/she bounds out of bed at 3 am to put pen to paper to write something down in fear that it will be forgotten by morning |

Yes I know I have everything there to write - apart from me even the poem I am working on It is all there and I know it Dave |
