Cherish the friends you can count on.
The number’ll be only a few.
Others are false with their feelings.
Sincerity nowhere in view.

Put your trust in loyal people.
Waste not your time on others who flee.
When rough times are stubbornly lurking
Alone and afraid you will be.

Be guarded when seeking assurance
From peers who are hollow and cold.
Advice will surely point inward.
Selfish motives forever untold.

Honor that one faithful person
Whose hands you can put all your trust.
The chance may come once in a lifetime.
A gift, solid as the earth’s crust.

Look within yourself for comfort
If you fail to find friendship elswhere.
You are your one true confidant.
Strong commitment you'll always find there.

This is truth in its absoluteness. I loved this write as this is how I choose my friends and I have a friend named Marsha that Is the best next to God of course. Thank you for sharing this.
