~Misty lilacs bloom
fragrancing the Winter's gloom
Stirring Spring to rush
forward in a swooshing blush
Frolicking the meadow again~

This poem makes me feel good>  I can see the flower and I visualize spring and my own gloom seems to vanish.  Thank you marge for being a true friend and welcomeing me into your world.   Huggs Kim

Hi Marge,

This is truly beautiful, we must have our censes going today, I've been trying to put something together that has to do with fragance in a way, nice to see and be reading your poetry.

Love, Cerenity

Oh Sweetie, thank you so much for this lovely. How I wish the lilacs could rush the Spring to swoosh a blush. It is snowing like crazy and oohhh sooo cold. Brrrr!!!

You are such a love to write this little tanka for me. I'm sorry I didn't respond sooner, but we were visiting with Ron's mom for the weekend and I was too pooped to open last night.

Huggles to the girls and a big one to you.
Loves, Marti

A Tanka for You, Marge.

The Gloom of Winter
Disippates, as ice splinters
Reflect the sparkling
Brilliance of the sun's center,
Like Marge, our poet mentor.

Such a lovely image is lilacs in Spring.  I love them, and this winter has left me really wishing for that burst of glory when the world blooms.

I think this is a lovely cinquain.  Has a fresh feeling to it.

It is nice to 'meet' you, and thank you for welcoming me to PIP.
