Father fishes a river
That flows under a bridge
A train passes over
Its whistle sounds

North of a road
That leads into town
To one side the house
Where a young woman lives

Autumn has colored
The leaves of the trees
How I see them
Through separate years

The sun sets slowly
In the western sky

Reeds rustle softly
A night bird sings

This is about as perfect as a poem can get.

I really needed this and will re-read it many, many times, especially when stress tries to get the better of me.
