In the morning glaze of winter
Still encased in jewel box pearl
Dormant branches reach undaunted
Palms upturn and fingers curl
Poised to cup the sun forbidden
Waiting patiently to find
Readiness to be forgiven
Motioning in welcome signed
White the wind forever blowing
Making turns to wander on
Modest clings the timber showing
Charcoal tracings rest upon
Dark the bark of winter passage
Motion of the hands conspire
Warm within a loving message
Sings the flames entwine reach higher
Hum in earnest reconcile
Draws your shadow to my form
In the morning glaze recital
Played together wild and warm

"In the morning glaze recital
Played together wild and warm"
