The waltz now softly has begun as we step to the floor
As passages of music melt… silently into the night
I took your hand and watched you glide on billowy wafts of air
That moved beneath my hands… that guide you on your way

I see the words as they are tapped against your mind—
I took the lead to simply show you how the journey runs
And wait to watch the rivulets of thought meander from your care
To cascade down the choreography of your enlightened eye

Creating delightful debutantes of design as stutter steps of dance routines
Promenade their pulse of purity clean in ever-visional dreams
Marking the meticulous path of sophistication (if you dare)
The secrets of the written word as it passes to your domain

So take the lead and see the steps you take
As sobriquets for sophistry as you unveil your taste.

THIS...is pure poetry. What an exquisite beauty! It is such an immense pleasure to read something this well written, that overflows with tasty vocabulary.
A keeper, thank you.

Very nice. Kinda reminded me of Slyvia Plath somehow, and this is a very good thing.

Much enjoyed!
