Snow falls and disappears
Almost as soon
As it touches ground

As much of life or dreams
Ephemeral divertissements
That no one then bothers
To keep in mind

And yet tonight
For some reason of their own
Having nothing to do with what is now
Certain images reappear

In a forest deer
Silently move in shades of blue
Light ripples on water
Near a hidden shore

The young woman her hair
Free as she flies to her lover’s arms

A winter halo
Around the moon
