There is something familiar about your face
I have seen somewhere before
Should I know who you are?

There is something familiar about your voice
I have heard somewhere before
Should I know who you are?

There is something familiar about this fear
I have felt once before
Now I know who you are

You are my demon, my nightmare
You are the one who took my innocence
Now I know who you are

You have stolen my childhood, my dreams
You are my destroyer
I know you well

I remember every stroke of your hand
Even to the smallest demand
I know you well

I can still taste the bitter kisses
And beating of my heart in my chest
Should I hate you this much?

I thought you were bigger
Stronger somehow
I guess you were then

I thought you would be scarier
Intimidating to me
I guess you were then

But not now
Not any longer
I don’t know you at all
