I have felt that ache
of knowing
that I can never
know
the feel, the touch
that would cause me
to reel...

to be all tied up inside..

and Yes,

I do hide from
the pain
        of my desire

within this fire
shame does not burn;
but glowing embers
can't match this yearning...

churning in my soul~

I've written this
so that you will know

that I too, know
the ache
of 'not know'.

seek the flame within yourself
and let your soul be cleansed by
the fire of love.  Axel Ekenstierna

I've felt that ache, too... and it can knock one to her knees, can't it? *S* You wrote it well, sweet lady!

Isn't it just so,
that you are wise enough
to know what
you don't know?

So many of us relate to this, but only Gentle Spirit can write a Gentle Spirit poem about it!  Beautiful, sensitive and so very, painfully sad.  I wish you happiness of at least other kinds.
