Yesterday I were alone
today is still unknown

Tomorrow my dreams may come

My heart is undecided on the matter
and my mind
is too connected to reality
in a system of the worlds logic
speaking “love cannot be”

and the heart stopped believing

as the beats become numb

and I

looked into someone else’s eyes
as if
her soul wanted to tell me something

and in the moments before she left

I heard “love is below the minds reach
In heart do we first learn to breath”.

I'll be brave and hazzard a guess ~ "Wranx"?

He too, is a philosopher of love and life!

Lee, I am always affected in some way by your love poetry ~ as well as your poems on fantasy!

Warm hug,

I'm going along with Earth Angel on this.

Nice write; and yes, well said, especially those last lines.   ...jo

I especially like the last two lines of this poem, too.  It does seem that love makes life so much more alive...as if colors intensify.  Your words indicate that  until it actually happens, it's easy to regard love as a choice.

Interesting... I enjoyed reading this.

Thank you for the kind comment on my first post, Oceanside Evening!

It sounds like me listening to advice given long ago by my mother.  Also a little of my life right now.  In any case, I like this VERY much and would like to place it in my library.  From time to time I've written in a similar style, but very seldom. I can never choose a certain style.

A definite treat for whoever you masqueraded as...

Okay Lee...time to let us know who this is..
I have a feeling Wranx too...
but, just may be wrong.
Time to tell us!

Wonderful as usual Red.

I heard “love is below the minds reach
In heart do we first learn to breath”.

That blew me away. Keep em coming. Cheers  - Ed
