Did you get your Christmas Wish?
Was it on your Christmas list?
I got mine, he's "Devil-lish"
A mate for my female fish.

He's worth a bunch-he is quite rare,
If he'll mate the fry they'll bear
Will make me rich
Beyond compare

So wish me luck-fingers crossed,
For a zillion babies at no cost,
And if they don't...nothing lost..

I have more fish and tanks than I do bad poetry....I have a 250 gallon, 150 gallon, 110 gallon, a 29 gallon long, a 29 gallon hex, a 20 gallon long, and many 10 gallon tanks.....if these fish breed....they have between 250 and 500 fry....and when they're approx one inch, they sell for about 6 bucks a piece.....very profitable endeavor..
Thanks for the replies...

I really enjoyed this one   I sell koi during the spring-summer months for the people who put out the outdoor ponds, and I sell minnows to fishermen.  I had some betas in bowls but they got too crazy sitting next to each other.  I love the beauty of fish and all those wonderful colors and species available.     You warmed my heart!

Toe,  I would have sworn that 'Deer told me

feminine one he keeps refering to from time

I did some research too, did you read this:

Breeding:

Pairs are best formed by raising a batch of six or so individuals together in a very large system, removing all others once a couple form. Trying to match single females to adult males is a very tricky proposition, resulting in many lost females (males get to at least a foot in length, females a mere 8 inches). As previously mentioned, you are advised to erect a permanent physical barrier in the way of cut egg-crate and silicone it in place to keep your male/female apart.

Hope your male didn't think your female was a koy

I understand you're getting very rich in the near future Toe
