The purpose of me being
with God here its shown
making wonderful new friends
doing all this on my own

Helping them in someway
if they are having a sad day
I want to lighten them up
by showing them positive ways

Its easier said then done
but it does not hurt to try
it can hard sometimes
It may make me want to cry

I am happy to do it
God has given this gift
whoever needs me
I am here to give you a lift

Poetry can get you very far

(I think there's a "be" missing in this line:
"it can hard sometimes" )

Very heartfelt   Keep doing whatever it is that you do to help lighten those heavy hearts..!
