Fourth Dream
31 July 2005

Just a saddle
and bridle
wrapped in a dream
and honeyed memories
of you.

So simple and haunting, your dream poems. Beautiful work.

Thank you, Lady.  Flicka was a beautiful horse - body, soul and spirit.  He was God's gift who enriched my life for 20½ years - actually 22½ years because I knew him for 2 years before I and my 2 children were his adoring family.

Smiling at this...

Thank you for sharing Flicka...
the depth of your love for her is clear...

A beautiful write...
for what I'm sure was a beautiful friend...

Thank you vlraynes.  Actually, Flicka was/is a he (although the original one in the book was a she).  Yes, we adored/adore each other.  He was a bundle of love.
