This poem is a prequal to "Amy", it was written six years ago and mind you I was only sixteen at the time. So my craftmanship was a little lacking. Though I feel it fitting to place here with you ladies and gents.
Every poem about my love was about her, if you scroll back through my works there are a few. This as you can see is why in "Amy" I wrote that she is my muse.
Bare with me the next poem will be new, I just wished to come here and read all of the beautiful work that is written here.

Her face carved from a perfect slab of marble
Kindness is what she shares
Beauty is hers, yet she will not admit it
Captured by her purity
The smile she has is enough of a reason to breathe
Insanity is what they say I have
Simply for falling for her
No matter my heart means more than their words
Life is pointless if you do not play by the heart
True to life is compassion
So is my burning desire for her
It is just so bewildering to feel so deeply
Wishing to become one with her
Everyone else is trivial except for my angel
Time stands still, as my eyes are locked upon her
All I can say is something meaningless
I just want to pour my love-drenched soul out to her
To simply place my lips upon hers and ignite a fire deep within.
To be able to kiss from head to toe like a thousand rose pedals
To lay with in passion with no need for sex
Laying in eternity
Nestled tightly with a perfect angel

Tomorrow comes for those who fear it.
Today never ends for those who live it.

"Life is pointless if you do not play by the heart"

I agree wholeheartedly with this statement!  Take it from one who knows - the age of 16 returns again when the time is right.  Not in "earth years" but inside where it counts.  It's called "renewed passion" -

you are such a beautiful soul
and that line:

"Life is pointless if you do not play by the heart"

perhaps it should be etched on our bodies at birth

Wow, I just get here and you are soon leaving.  May peace and love always find you and fill your heart with joy and gladness.

You write wonderfully!
