Broken Flowers

I've cried for hours
over the loss of
broken flowers.
Still each served
its purpose well,
like the softening
of a hardened heart,
each broken flower
has a tender
story to tell.

If broken flowers are broken people, then I fully understand why you cry and weep.  We have too many broken flowers in our world.  If only more people like you who can see the pain and feel the pain could get together, maybe we could come up with a solution.

James,
each broken flower
has a tender
story to tell.
You must be a listner.

How very true, James.  I felt your sadness and the tenderness with which you held these broken flowers.   ...jo

If all the broken flowers could sing a song, it would truly invoke the same emotions as you do here.

It makes you relate flowers with people as they fall into pieces and are treasured even though they've been broken.  It has a very warm touch, and is beautifully done.
