Heading to China

I met my muse one-day
Her arms bandage from the marks she placed upon herself
I could sense her soul was being tormented
When I saw her on that day, I knew my life was changed forever
My heart melted into a puddle
I could not make head or tails of the world
I wished to scoop up this damaged dove
Only wishing to nurse her back to health
After that meeting I lost her for a while
Torment followed my like the darkening clouds
Sleep would longer come and food tasted oh so bitter
In time I began to cope with the missing piece of my heart
Till one day that phone rang and my heart was brought to life once more
We began to get closer; all I wished to do was protect her from the world
In time I learned that a person could be stronger then I ever imagined
Her strength was unbelievable
Inside a beauty of epic proportions shined
I fell into a state I now know as love
Her strength and beauty brought to a level I could never of known
She became my inspiration
Lovers we soon became
Every moment seemed like a fireworks display
I cherished every second I had with her
Though in time I began to see that the life I choose to lead would only bring her pain
I could not bear to witness my angel in pain because of me
So I did the only thing I could do
I ended our relationship
Making up some stupid things
I told others it was another woman
No one could no that it was because I could not bear to be another tragedy in her life
I write this all now because I have always wished that she know
That for eternity she will be my strength
She will forever be my muse
She will forever be my one true love
My beautiful angel
You will always be in my heart
I thank you for the gift you gave me
I wish nothing more for you to have a beautiful life
Because a beauty such as you deserves
All the beauty in the world

Tomorrow comes for those who fear it.
Today never ends for those who live it.

This cries the excruciating pain of hurting somebody for their own good.  Well done.  Sorry for your pain and hers.

Yes, why are you leaving?

Thank you, iliana. Sometimes someone has to leave just so they can come back again. I am leaving, because the things I write are not that of fiction. I leave so that someday they will be.
Thank you, Susan Caldwell.
Thank you, OwlSA. I wish this poem did not have to exist, but it does.
Midnitesun I am sorry for leaving the shudders open. You are right, I will only be gone aslong as the world needs me. I will share my heart beat again, I am sure.
