Second poem I post on the site... I just found this poem very personal and wanted to share it with everyone... thanks

Still There January 7th, 2005

And her scent is still on my skin
I continue to feel the burn within
Her kiss still on my lips
And on my hand reamins her grip

My chest preserves the shape of her head
My eyes still suffer with tears they shed
Her image still marked in a crystal lens
They weep and make an effort to pretend

Her silence still enters my ears
Even when I try hard not to hear
My sleep still brings her face
And in my soul is the scar she traced

Fantasies proceed to haunt my mind
Retaining a past I try to leave behind
Now alone in an empty room
Where it ended, it cannot resume

Beautiful, even in its sadness.

I think many can relate to what you convey here.

As hard as you try, it takes time.

Welcome to Pip!

Love,
Margherita
