The porch swing sways
Though there is no wind
A cat slips by
On the wooden rail

A soft perfume
Fills the summer air
Fireflies waltz
Above the lawn

Cars go by
Beyond the woods
That world for a moment
Far away

A night bird calls
Under the silver moon
Crickets chirp
And Venus glows

I can see it all.  What a marvelous place to be!  Thanks for taking me there.

That still, silent stranger in the shadows near your West Porch - well, that was me, drinking in every detail of the picture.  Thank you.
