stop me if I go too fast

but please
don't attempt to install
any nasty roadblocks

for I am one helluva steamroller
when need be
and in the next months of milestones
I intend to remain full speed ahead
this woman isn't dead
yet, and for what it's worth
even if it's just a cheap shot
I shall birth a hurricane if need be
(I'm sorry, Serenity!)

but you will not abuse me
without paying a price

being mean to your mother
nature
isn't nice
and you better think twice
before you suck all the oil from my well
you might suck yourself all the way to

well, you know
the rest of the story

smile..I've been accused of birthing a few storms m'self.

and as heartbreaking as the result of the Katrita saga is, something had to be done here.

Mother just took it into her own hands.

"stop me if I go too fast"

Time is of essence, we must move with haste..

"I intend to remain full speed ahead
this woman isn't dead
yet, and for what it's worth
even if it's just a cheap shot
I shall birth a hurricane if need be"

I join you in your rage...

"but you will not abuse me
without paying a price"

I will add my coins of thought to your offering...as a salve to heal abuse.

"being mean to your mother
nature
isn't nice"

Simple phrases tell the truth better than complex thoughts....

"before you suck all the oil from my well
you might suck yourself all the way to"

Hell!, there, I've said it for you, and I'm glad...

I can only guess about the rest of the story, but assune it contains a constant struggle...

You are not alone in the battle, rest assured...

Thank you for telling it like it is....

What was that old commercial...

you can't fool Mother Nature...

and by Goddess...you can't!

We are victim of our times, we can act,
and activate, and react...

and continue to hope [what else?] that we will multiply.

Sad thing is...we won't learn a lesson
until after we have screwed it up royally.

Thanx Kacy

For our resident steamroller:

Steamroller

lyrics by James Taylor:

"...Well, I’m a cement mixer
A churning urn of burning funk
Yes, I’m a cement mixer for you, baby
A churning urn of burning funk
Well, I’m a demolition derby (yeah)
A hefty hunk of steaming junk

Now, I’m a napalm bomb, baby
Just guaranteed to blow your mind
Yeah, I’m a napalm bomb for you, baby
Oh, guaranteed, just guaranteed to blow your mind
And if I can’t have your love for my own (now)
Sweet child, won’t be nothing left behind"

I hadta do it.

and yep, I'm crazy enough to kiss a steamroller tonight!

love ya lady

on the Sweet Baby James album cover, right?

I saw him about 4 years ago
(amazing btw God, that and Neil Young with Crazy Horse and Clapton, best concerts I ever saw)
but I cannot px him singing that presently.

Must be a father sorta thing . . .

*laughing*
