black lines stitch the sky

with naked frightened branches

Winter now demands

awesome!

I loved this and it reminded me that not everywhere is hot and humid at this time of year....so hard to imagine when you've grown up in Oz where it's summer time in January.

Thanks for sharing

Birds sing gleefully
The clouds shift gently above
Winter hasn't come

In South Carolina, yesterday's temps were in the 70s - felt like a spring day.

Wishing you warmth & defrosting soon!

January is more than just a month demanding payments.  It's cold bleakness tests us.

believe in what your heart feels...

sure does, especially here . . .

Jan and Feb are usually the most horrid months of winter.  Not to mention getting over the holidays . . . saw that in there too.

Beautiful job on this, icey.

Excellent Sir!
Well said indeed.
Sending warm hugs.

In the midst of winter,
I found there lives within me..
An invincible summer.
