I only lived in Edinburgh
with a ferry at my feet
and the moose lodge on the corner
although it was only just a lodge
The cozy couple, each day held hands
Musty eyed, potato clothes
While their age did not matter
Sitting quietly on the park bench
As golden leaves fell before them
And memories of children grown
Prepare family dinners on the cold autumn day

you just provided me with a glimpse of terrain I have always longed to see.

Thank you.

A wonderful poem.

"Musty eyed, potato clothes
While their age did not matter"

Beautiful lines.
