She runs
I watch from distant place
I am not sure where I am, above,
Below, another dimension
But watching, I fear for her
She seems vaguely familiar

She lifts her Katie Scarlet skirt
And runs, terrified
Looking back, as if pursued
She is beautiful, even in her fright

Mindless of tree branches
Lashing her face, her tender white flesh
She cares not of that which trips her
Getting up and running more
She is desperate to get away, always looking back

In the end it was a fruitless flee
That which challenges her, destroys her
Caring not that she is beautiful
Only that she was untamable

And suddenly I am somewhere else
Transferred to another place
A younger place
Where she sits alone
She is the same but different

Her fight, her flight the same
Only this time she doesn’t run
She waits for him to come to her
In his own time
Again taking from her
That which she wouldn’t give freely

“They haunt me in my dreams”

In this life, I am she

A certain tribe of native americans (I forget which tribe, Margie might know though) believe that we will continue to have night terrors as recurring dreams until we face that which is haunting us.

Y'wanna have a ritual?

(I get the dress when you're done though, sounds fab)

c'mon love, give us a smile? ?

I love that you get me Karen.

The dress is fab and so is the painting of her on the stairwell...all in color, it's always in color, both of them actually.

The he is the husband in each...interesting that I haven't remarried, huh?

and as for the ritual?  My gut tells me I haven't finished with the dreams yet...so I will have to take a rain check on that.

  love you lady!
