,

There is no more pretense
nor demurity of pink;
all cloaks and shawls
elude for now,
all but a sprinkling
of white, random
as old fallen leaves,
that tickle
her twisted frame
now and then,
on the wind's discretion,

and for the season,
she stands, as is,
and dares you
to look away.

The tree is compelling in her nudity ~ as are you, Goddess. For you bare a part of your beautiful soul with every write.
